A rose by any other name

I did this today to send in to the Monochrome Madness series being done by Leanne Cole Photography and Laura Macky journey of the body on this earth . If you haven’t been there, go check it out. There are amazing photographers posting–every one of them is amazing. I don’t know about me, but Leanne makes me do it.

thank you, Ludwig! I love your post. It is brilliant. My favorite is the color rose against the black background. I don’t know how to do that yet, but I’m kind of glad I don’t, because airbrushing in the black on this rose forced me to look at the negative space and I found shadows there! I was able to re-create those with the airbrush. And to emphasize them where I didn’t need to re-create them. I was not able to comment on your blog because WordPress wouldn’t let me get into the comment box unless I watched the video advertisement. Sorry about that! yes, please submit one of your photographs to Leanne’s and Laura’s Monochrome Madness!

Aaarrrghhh! Pardon the four-letter word. I have just tried several browsers and for me, of course!, there is no forced video ad! That blog post is on Blogger, a Google service, so there is no telling what they do to visitors. Please try it again. You should be able to see other comments and below those a comment box that is unrestricted. Thank you much Nia!
